Our mission is to provide the very best comprehensive education and caring support to Transgender individuals and those close to them. This is accomplished through offering a variety of carefully selected programs and resources focused on the factors affecting their lives and significant others.

Transology is a non judgemental Transgender Support and Educational Organization and understands the diverse difference between Gender Identity and Sexual Orientation. We respect each individuals uniqueness, and help them to understand themselves beyond our society's definition of gender. We help those individuals whose internal conflict causes crisis within their lives to better understand the very emotional trauma associated with gender identity so they may increase their own sense of worth to society and themselves. We also understand that the spouses and significant others of Transgender individuals require substantial support so that they too can understand the reason for their love ones Transgender life, issues and problems and how to cope with, help and support their Transgender spouse or significant other in their life.

Transology is dedicated to helping educate society to understand that Transgender individuals are normal human beings and well adjusted people. To meet that need, Transology maintains an educational and consulting component of unique individuals comfortable with providing public education, to Colleges, Universities, Schools, Employers, Unions and Churches when the need arises. This is an aspect, available only to those who wish to take part and not required for membership.

We believe that today's Questioning Youth require the same degree of support and information as an adult, and to meet that need maintain a youth component as an integral part of the group Educating both Parents and Youths about Transgenderism, allowing a Youth positive personal growth and understanding parents. ROSE also asist and supports the parents of their Transgender questioning youth, so that they may have access to all possible resources in understanding the emotional trauma of today's questioning youth.

Membership in Transology is open to anyone who identifies with the term "Transgender" be they Cross Dresser's, Transsexual, Inter Sexed, Male to Female, Female to Male, Drag Queen, Female Illusionist, regardless of race, creed, color, religion, nationality or sexual orientation.

We are a non-profit support group, dedicated to providing the highest possible caliber of support and Transgender Education to our members and visitors. Our activities are based on the needs of our members, visitors and the Transgender community.

Transology further supports a Transgender Couples discussion group intended for those in a married or similar relationship that have told their wives, husbands, girl friends, boy friends or intended. It is a venue for sharing thoughts and ideas with other Transgender individuals to help those who are struggling with the issues of Transgenderism. This group is especially important for the wives or significant others who need an interaction with those in a similar situation to their own.

Transology is here to reach-out to anyone who needs help and provide a safe haven for those who want to get out and be themselves among others like themselves. Come join our meetings and meet new friends and maybe old acquaintances and enjoy our programs and peer socializing. We are open to all crossdressers, transsexual ( both MtF and FtM ) and gender variant individuals, spouses, and significant other of legal age regardless of gender, race, creed, or sexual orientation as well as to interested medical and mental health professionals.

Our meeting are secure and provides a very safe haven to meet where you can be yourself without fear of ridcule, being made fun of, or worrying about your birth male or female gender identity being discovered. Identity secrecy is a main factor at our meeting location for members and visitors. You can come to meetings dressed in your preferred Gender clothing or you can bring your preferred clothing and change at the church in the areas provided, or come to meetings dressed as your everyday self, which ever makes you feel more comfortable. There are no specific dress codes to attend our meetings except dress within reason. There will also be light refreshments provided at meetings for all to enjoy.

Our Support and Educational Meetings to be updated

Doors open at 7:30 PM on meeting nights. From the time the doors open until the Transgender Forum begins everyone can mingle, meet and get acquainted. There is no yearly membership fee for those who wish to become members of Transology. We do accept $5.00 meeting donations at each meeting, on a voluntary basis. Donations are used to pay for the rental fee for the meeting location, supply refreshments and to help with programs, activities and chapter expenses. A monthly Treasury report is given at each meeting in detail in reference to chapter spending of funds.

We begin meeting nights at 8:30 PM until 9:00 PM. Then go into a Transgender Forum or discussion for those who wish to attend or begin the scheduled program or Special Visiting Speaker. The Transgender Forum or discussion is open to anything anyone wishes to discuss related to Transgender issues from still being in the closet to Transition and SRS Surgery as well as anything related in between. This forum is for support and education as well as guidance and help to TG individuals seeking help and information and wishing to learn more about themselves and the Transgender Community. We can all share our experiences and what we have learned in our life's Transgender journey to help and guide others. We also invite Parents of Transgender Children to come to our Transgender forum and meetings to learn about their Transgender Children and what to expect and to seek help and guidance for them. The Transgender Forum will last one hour but may continue longer depending on the interest and subject matter.

After the forum discussion, scheduled program or Special visiting Speaker ,we'll spend the rest of the meeting refreshing with snacks and socializing with our peers or join the others who came to the meeting just to socialize and just be themselves in a different part of the meeting location ............... It is the duty of all present at meetings to make sure the meeting location is clean and in the condition it was when we arrived ....

Our main objective in Transology is Support and Education with a means for TG individuals to have a place were they can meet and feel secure, safe, private and which can help maintain a member's secrecy. You will find our group to be friendly, compassionate and understanding. A place where you can be comfortable being yourself. If you are in search of acceptance, we have it. Information? ...... There's lots of advice to go around, most of it from those of us who have been where you are or are going and have been. We learn from one another by each other's experiences, successes and failures. We offer support for those who desire to take the next step.

One thing we do wish to express here at Transology and that is regardless of whether you are a member of the Transgender Community who identify as Gay, Straight , Bisexual , Heterosexual, Transsexual, Crossdresser, MTF or FTM, Post Op or Pre Op or any other member of the Transgender Community; we all have the same purpose. We are all on our Transgender Journey in life. Some of us will take different turns on the Transgender Highway to reach our final peace of mind but we are all here for the same reasons. Everyone will be respected, that makes no one any better then the next person no matter who you are....... everyone will be treated as an equal....
